Major Sox U23 Men's Squad Named Coaches Steven Deans and Fergus McAlpine have named a 23 man strong squad to attend a training camp in Palmerston North over Labour weekend. While a major focus is in preparation for the world championship in the second half of 2021 there will also be a big emphasis on personal development both physically and mentally. With the cancellation of the Club nationals in March, it seems a long time since the boys have been on the diamond; however this has created more time for the boys to focus on their individual preparation. Deans and McAlpine want to carry on with this preparation work over the weekend. The Major Sox U23 Squad is: Kaleb Rona, Nick Lanigan (North Harbour), Brock Attewell, Dylan Tonkin, Floyd Nola, Harry Valk, Huw Davies, Max Earley, Seth Bourgeois, Seth Gibson, Taine Slaughter, Toby Bourgeois (Auckland), Adam Woon (Hawkes Bay), Jared Gillard, Xaviar Herrick (Hutt Valley), Damon Creasy, Dylan Jackson, Jayden Stratford, Mardi McBride, Sam Marley, Tobias Makisi, (Wellington), Caleb Stewart, Josh Lubiejewski (Canterbury) |
